SDG 4 – Quality Education – Girvan Primary School
The Galloway & Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere in partnership with Girvan Primary School developed a Learning for Sustainability Toolkit which supports teachers and leaders to incorporate Learning for Sustainability into their practice. The toolkit has been distributed across the region to support educators in delivering outdoor, environmental education and global citizenship skills. The toolkit helps to go some way in achieving target four of the UN’s SDGs, ‘Quality Education’, ensuring that foundations of knowledge are built from the outset for children to go on to make a positive impact in the future.
