SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities – Ochiltree Hub

The award-winning Ochiltree Community Hub is a local initiative that plays a key role in bringing about community connections by providing a venue for activities and space for local groups to meet. Located in the first Biosphere Community to be designated in East Ayrshire, Ochiltree Hub supports resource sharing through the community book point, and promotes social ties with classes, talks, and the popular café. By promoting inclusivity and collaboration within Ochiltree, the hub helps develop a stronger community and demonstrates global Sustainable Development Goals.
