A Biosphere Experience - A must for anyone who wants to write about the sea or shoreline.

We will be mostly writing outside, in a variety of extraordinary locations along the stunning Dumfries and Galloway coast. Our week will include: yoga in a cave – toes digging into the sandy floor and using each yoga flow to access a deeper aspect of your novel; a dark-sky beach experience where The Freelance Ranger will teach you about the moon, the tides, and the role of the stars in the lives of sea-goers and beach-dwellers; and an amazing evening foraging with Mark Williams from Galloway Wild Foods. At low tide, we will walk out to an island and learn about seaweed, which beach plants and vegetables to eat, and how you can incorporate the natural world in your writing. A truly magical trip that will include – writing notebooks in hand – island cocktails (with or without alcohol) under a setting sun.
