Coalfield Communities Landscape Partnership
This series of community-led projects is based on the unique natural and cultural heritage of the Biosphere’s former coalmining villages and towns, celebrating residents’ sense of place and bringing a wider understanding of the history of East Ayrshire. But it isn’t just a look back into the past; CCLP is about learning and regeneration, and identifying local opportunities for sustainable development. A collaboration of twelve public and third sector partners is helping residents bring the Coalfield Communities projects to life.
