Galloway Glens Landscape Partnership

GGLP was known as ‘Biosphere in action’ in and around the Glenkens and Ken-Dee Valley. The hugely popular five-year programme of activities, talks and events was all about connection and engagement: bringing people together, facilitating learning, and fostering a deeper connection with land and heritage. Subjects explored ranged from Galloway place-names to crab-apple trees!

Our partners in supporting GGLP were Dumfries & Galloway Council and the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Galloway Glens programme concluded in autumn 2023, and you can read the final Overview via the button below.
