Biosphere ‘Good for Business’ shortlisted in RSPB Nature of Scotland Awards

We are really pleased to share that the work we have been carrying out with local businesses in our Biosphere has been shortlisted under the ‘Business’ category in the RSPB Nature of Scotland Awards 2020

Our Biosphere has had some notable successes which contributed to the shortlisting
The only UNESCO Biosphere in the UK to have developed Business Certification 
Over 160 Business Proud Supporters committing to the Biosphere Proud Supporter Charter
14 local businesses have taken part in international learning journeys to explore how other countries use their UNESCO Biosphere designations.
40 Biosphere Businesses attended our Biosphere Good for Business event in January 2020
We have developed Biosphere Sense of Place toolkit

This is only the beginning of the journey. Our Biosphere Businesses are wanting to work together more to source supplies more locally, to work together to offer Biosphere Experiences combining local accommodation, local food and drink with local activities. To learn more about the Biosphere and its environment so that they can share it with their customers and guests.
