Management of the Biosphere is guided the local delivery of the UNESCO Man and Biosphere Strategy 2015 -2025 and Lima Action Plan 2016-2025 which can be viewed here.

Social Enterprise in the Biosphere
In 2016 the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere and social enterprise the Adventure Centre for Education were represented through a specially commissioned film screened at the World Congress of Biosphere’s that took place in Lima, Peru.
Position Statements and Consultation
Whilst the Biosphere Partnership has no formal remit as a consultee on proposed developments or changes in regional or national policy, where they may have a significant impact on the Biosphere the Partnership Board may elect to respond and make representation.
