The Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere designation is recognition by the international community of what a special place our corner of Scotland really is. It is also recognition of the commitment from local communities, businesses, ngo's and agencies to work together, to improve the lives, the environment and the local economy in a sustainable way for all of us.

Taking place at the new Ochiltree Community Hub, Ochiltree, Cumnock KA18 2PE on Tuesday 10th December 2019, starting at 1.00 pm (tea and coffee from 12.30 pm) it's a chance to find out more about the Biosphere and key initiatives taking place to benefit our local area.
